Acclaimed NYC Cabaret Star Helane Blumfield Brings Her Signature Talent to Florida Audiences

[New York, NY – 02/1/25] — Award-winning cabaret performer, photographer, and photojournalist Helane Blumfield is making waves once again—this time, bringing her celebrated artistry to the Florida stage. Known for her powerful voice, magnetic stage presence, and storytelling prowess, Blumfield has long been a beloved figure in New York City’s cabaret scene, captivating audiences with performances that are as bold as they are deeply personal.

Blumfield first made her mark with her cabaret debut, VERGE, at the iconic Don’t Tell Mama in NYC. She followed up with her second solo show, CALL ME H, further solidifying her reputation as a compelling solo artist. Her tribute show, TIGHT PANTS AND TEARS OF JOY: MY LOVE AFFAIR WITH TOM JONES AND NEIL DIAMOND, earned her a Broadway World Award and played to sold-out audiences at the Laurie Beechman Theater.

In 2022, Blumfield returned to Don’t Tell Mama with ME AND BOBBY PEACO, a vibrant and musically rich collaboration with the acclaimed pianist, singer, and music director Bobby Peaco. A multi-award-winning artist (recipient of numerous MAC and Bistro Awards), Peaco has performed nationally and internationally and is a staple in New York's top clubs and piano bars, and is now a sought-after musical director in South Florida. He has worked with legends such as Julie Wilson, Jerry Herman, and Jackie Hoffman, bringing his virtuosic playing and sharp musical instincts to every project. Recently invigorated by her experience at the Midwest Cabaret Conference, Blumfield is more committed than ever to pushing musical boundaries and crafting emotionally resonant performances. Beyond the stage, Blumfield is also an award-winning photojournalist and photographer. In 2020, she received a Broadway World Award for “Best Documentarian of Cabaret, Photography or Film/Video,” recognizing her keen eye and deep love for the performing arts community.
